Caroline graduated from the University of St Andrews and started her career in the European Department of international advertising agency Doyle Dane Bernbach (now BMP/DDB) where she was European Co-ordinator for the Polaroid and Volkswagen accounts in Europe. From there she moved to boutique marketing company McDonough Associates, working on a range of consumer and corporate accounts, and thence to Lowe Bell, the communications group formed by Lord Bell in the early 1980s.
In 1992 Caroline moved in-house to become Marketing Manager of law firm Baileys Shaw and Gillett where she oversaw the UK and international PR activities for the firm, including the development of the European marketing group 'Legalliance' where a major part of her responsibilities was the organisation of conferences, seminars, exhibitions and events in the UK and overseas.
Caroline joined DDA in 1997, working with co-founder Tony Franklin, and in 2001 became Chief Executive Officer of DDA Event Management.
