After graduating in English Literature from the University of Leeds, Laura began her career at Blueprint Pictures, where she worked with UK producers Graham Broadbent and Pete Czernin.
Laura joined DDA in 2006 and has since worked on a series of UK publicity campaigns, including the theatrical releases of NINE, VALKYRIE, 17 AGAIN and W.
Laura has a wealth of red carpet experience, having media managed a number of high-profile Leicester Square premieres, including HARRY POTTER 6, HANNAH MONTANA THE MOVIE, CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC, SEX AND THE CITY and THE DARK KNIGHT. She also has experience of International events, such as the world premiere and unveiling of DISNEY'S A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival which included coordinating the international press conference and red carpet event.
She also has experience of working with film talent at premieres and junkets including the UK junket of FAME, DORIAN GRAY, FUNNY PEOPLE, CHE PART 2 and 17 AGAIN as well as the world premieres of ST TRINIAN'S and THE GOLDEN COMPASS, and the London Film Festival schedules for CHLOE, LIONS FOR LAMBS and EASTERN PROMISES.
In 2008 and 2009, Laura attended the Cannes Film Festival where she worked in the press office throughout the festival. She also attended the 2009 Glasgow Film Festival where she oversaw the press junket for IN THE LOOP, as well as 2008 Edinburgh International Film Festival, where she publicised the Charles Martin Smith film, THE STONE OF DESTINY
