THE READER

For the past 8 years, DDA has successfully and enthusiastically produced customized AMPAS (Oscars) and BAFTA campaigns for a wide range of films, including MILK; THE DARK KNIGHT; VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA; THE READER; ATONEMENT; EASTERN PROMISES; MICHAEL CLAYTON; THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES; LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA; HOLLYWOODLAND; THE DEPARTED; HAPPY FEET; CRASH; SYRIANA; TRANSAMERICA; MARCH OF THE PENGUINS; GOOD NIGHT & GOOD LUCK; A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE; HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG; and THE LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy.

DDA provides a truly bespoke service, tailored specifically to the needs of each film although, despite our competitive nature, should we detect any conflict of interest between a proposed project and a similar existing assignment, we customarily undertake to declare this to the clients involved and offer to withdraw.

Working within the ever-changing BAFTA rules, DDA maintains a close, professional relationship with the key BAFTA personnel here and in the United States, putting us in a strong position to ensure that the ever-increasing British Academy membership is very well looked after, both collectively and individually.

Over the past 25 years of the Academy Awards, DDA has handled the UK and international theatrical publicity for 35 Best Picture Oscar nominees, including 9 Best Picture winners. Based on this depth of experience, the company is ideally suited to the task of ensuring that all members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences living outside the United States can be kept fully involved in the Awards process.
