HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2
On Thursday 7 July, the cast and filmmakers of the global sensation HARRY POTTER gathered in London's Trafalgar Sq for the film event of a generation at the World Premiere of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - PART 2. The red carpet was confirmed to be the longest in history by the Guinness Book of Records and was awash with stars including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and JK Rowling herself. DDA orchestrated a total of 31 live interviews on the red carpet, in a press line that consisted of 100 TV crews, and over 80 print radio and online journalists from every corner of the planet, all keen to talk about the epic finale to the HARRY POTTER films.
Over 20,000 Potter fans flocked to Central London to greet the cast and crew behind the much loved films, and were delighted by an emotional onstage presentation before the stars made their way up Jubilee Walk, magically transformed into Diagon Alley, and on to Leicester Square where the film premiered for the lucky attendees in the Odeon Leicester Square, Odeon West End, and Empire Leicester Square.
HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS – PART 1 & PART 2 are directed by David Yates, who also helmed the blockbusters Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
David Heyman continues as producer in his seventh Harry Potter film together with David Barron. Heading the cast, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson reprise their roles as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS – PART 2 is released by Warner Bros. Pictures and will open across the world on July 15, 2011
